Higher scores indicate more control gaps. This is an exposure index, not a percentage chance of a break-in.
The points show exposure within each area. The category weights total 100. Critical-issue rules can raise the final score.
Based only on your answers. It is not a site survey, crime prediction, safety certificate or insurance rating. Check the arrangements your property and policy require.
OPTIONAL NEXT STEP
Ask Armour to discuss inspections, monitored video verification or response arrangements. Your result and selected answers will accompany your enquiry.

OPEN SCORING METHOD
The questions cover common vacant-property control gaps. Armour assigns the points shown below; this is our practical framework, not a statistically validated risk model.
Property type adds context and does not score. Nine questions contribute up to 100 points. More gaps or uncertainty add more points. A stronger answer reduces the relevant contribution.
| Area | Maximum points |
|---|---|
| Length of vacancy | 10 |
| Physical inspections | 15 |
| Secure access points | 15 |
| Intrusion detection and verification | 20 |
| Response arrangements | 15 |
| Known leaks or condition issues | 10 |
| Utilities and maintenance plan | 5 |
| External appearance, post and waste | 5 |
| Keys and access oversight | 5 |
Bands: 0–24 lower exposure; 25–49 moderate; 50–74 high; 75–100 very high. These are index bands, not probabilities.
Critical-issue rules: an unsecured entrance sets a minimum score of 60. A known leak or serious unresolved damage sets a minimum of 40. Both together set a minimum of 75. The final score is the greater of the weighted points and the applicable minimum.
Uncertainty: “not sure” answers are scored conservatively and flagged so you know what to confirm. Weekly inspections are one scoring benchmark, not a universal insurance requirement. Your property or insurer may require a different frequency.

No. It highlights reported control gaps using the published points system. It does not use police crime data, property valuations or a statistical model to predict an incident.
Choose “not sure” where offered. The result flags uncertainty and gives it a conservative contribution. You can review and change your answers after checking the arrangements.
The result is a self-check, not an inspection record or confirmation of cover. Check the actual requirements with the responsible insurer or broker and keep the records they require.
